Here There Be Night

A Walk at Night: Your cell phone, 8 stories, 8 locations.

We are honoured to be included in Workshop West Playwright Theatre’s Here There Be Night, an intimate theatrical adventure about possibilities hidden all around us and finding treasure in unexpected places.

Produced by Workshop West Playwrights’ Theatre in Partnership with: Theatre Yes, Catalyst Theatre, Theatre Network, and Northern Light Theatre.

This will be an unforgettable immersive experience. It’s PG 13: Parental Guidance — some mature content.

Here There be Night uses the health limitations of COVID-19 as theatrical convention. Audience groups of 1-2 are guided via their cell phones and audio narration to see solo performers in a variety of outdoor and found space locations in Edmonton’s Old Strathcona district.

The production features the work of 10 local playwrights and features 8 performers.

Info about what to expect and COVID-19 heath and safety protocols will be shared with you as you purchase your tickets.

Catalyst’s 5 minute play is Nightshrine written by Mieko Ouchi, starring Nadien Chu, directed by Lana Michelle Hughes.

DRESS WARM, WEAR COMFORTABLE SHOES, BRING YOUR MASK, PHONE, AND EARBUDS FOR AN INTIMATE THEATRICAL ADVENTURE ABOUT POSSIBILITIES HIDDEN ALL AROUND US AND FINDING TREASURE IN UNEXPECTED PLACES.
