Catalyst Musical Theatre Bootcamp
APPLICATIONS ARE NOW OPEN! EARLY BIRD DEADLINE MARCH 15.

Are you a young performer aspiring to a career on the stage? A theatre student looking to sharpen your skills? Want to explore multiple facets of performance with internationally celebrated artists?
As Alberta's pre-eminent theatrical export with credits from New York’s Broadway district to London’s West End, Catalyst Theatre is excited to bring our decades of musical theatre experience to young actors in Edmonton through MUSICAL THEATRE BOOTCAMP!
During this three-week intensive program, participants will explore award-winning musical work from the Catalyst canon, refining their skills in singing, acting, text and interpretation, movement and choreography, rehearsal techniques and performance.
Participants will train with members of our core creative team of artists, including Artistic Director Jonathan Christenson – director, writer and composer of NEVERMORE, THE INVISIBLE, VIGILANTE, and many other award-winning productions. Under the guidance of these career artists, participants will gain insight into our distinct creative approach and learn about the unique style of a Catalyst production. The program will culminate in a musical showcase.
Thank you to our partners at MacEwan University Department of Theatre for their generous support of Musical Theatre Bootcamp.
